Kerra is a Poconos native. She's been a part of the Hospitality Industry since she was sixteen, including her tenure as a manager at a local grocery store. She received an associate degree in business management in 2018. Kerra has been with Frogtown since 2016. She moved from position to position and learned the intricacies of the restaurant industry through valuable hands-on training.  In 2018, she was promoted to General Manager due to her dedication, hard work, drive and skill set. She works closely with Eric Noone, owner, to help create a Wine Spectator award-winning wine selection. When she's not at the Chophouse, Kerra likes to spend time with her husband Chris, daughter, son and their fur baby Vixen, who's spoiled rotten.

She's also been known to enjoy a Margarita once in a while.

 Assistant Manager

Mandy is a Poconos native, growing up in nearby Pleasant Valley.  She started her professional career as a paralegal, but something was missing. Mandy's passion for cooking and creating pushed her to leap into the culinary field at The Frogtown Inn, formally in Canadensis, in 2015.  She was a chef in the 6 Acres restaurant and quickly moved up the ranks within the kitchen to Sous Chef under Chef-to-Cuisine Bryan Wallace. Her time spent in a restaurant kitchen taught her valuable lessons in multi-tasking, patience and timing. Her extensive knowledge of the back-of-house helped transition her into a powerhouse front-of-house staff member. She moved into the position of server and bartender with us. Over the years, Mandy has been a mainstay in our ranks (except for a time or two leaving to pursue her previous love of law). Her creativity, attention to detail, outgoing personality and supreme problem-solving skills make her the perfect fit for our management team. When she's not managing or bartending at the Chophouse, she moonlights as a realtor--

Culinary Team

A restaurant is only as good as its cuisine.  A lot of the hard work is being done behind the scenes in our kitchen.

Executive Chef

Lyman Winner has over 20 years of culinary and hospitality experience from The Poconos to Maryland, Colorado, and beyond. Lyman received a B.S. in Earth Space Science from Shippensburg University in 2000. He also received his A.A.S in Professional Cooking from Baltimore International College, where he eventually taught cooking courses. His background in the Baltimore area, famous for its crab cakes shaped his signature dish, the Frogtown Crab Cake. You can find his signature dish being sold at The Frogtown Chophouse in Cresco, as well as in several other local businesses & grocery stores. Chef Winner’s Poconos restaurant experience started in 2006 when he co-opened The Frogtown Inn and Six Acres Restaurant in Canadensis, PA. He and his then partners successfully ran the 6 Acres Restaurant until 2017 when the property changed hands. Executive Chef Lyman is always creating new and fun features and excels in adapting to any style of cooking our catering coordinator throws at him.

Pastry Chef

Cheryle was born in Victoria, Texas and found herself moving to the Poconos after high school. Although she fell in love with baking at the age of nine, she tried her hand at many different occupations (including modeling and acting). No matter what she tried, she couldn't extinguish her passion for desserts. She's been baking professionally for the past 15 years; 6 of which has been with us. Her favorite dessert is her dark chocolate sea-salt caramel torte. When she's not in the kitchen or on the floor as one of our servers, she loves spending time with her daughter who makes life that much sweeter.
