Front of House Team
We can only grow with a strong foundation. That strength comes from our hard working staff. We proudly introduce our Front of House Team.
kerra
General Manager

Kerra is a Poconos native. She's been a part of the Hospitality Industry since she was sixteen, including her tenure as a manager at a local grocery store. She received an associate degree in business management in 2018. Kerra has been with Frogtown since 2016. She moved from position to position and learned the intricacies of the restaurant industry through valuable hands-on training. In 2018, she was promoted to General Manager due to her dedication, hard work, drive and skill set. She works closely with Eric Noone, owner, to help create a Wine Spectator award-winning wine selection. When she's not at the Chophouse, Kerra likes to spend time with her husband Chris, daughter Ariella and their fur baby Vixen, who's spoiled rotten.
She's also been known to enjoy a Margarita once in a while.
mandy
Assistant Manager

Mandy is a Poconos native, growing up in nearby Pleasant Valley. She started her professional career as a paralegal, but something was missing. Mandy's passion for cooking and creating pushed her to leap into the culinary field at The Frogtown Inn, formally in Canadensis, in 2015. She was a chef in the 6 Acres restaurant and quickly moved up the ranks within the kitchen to Sous Chef under Chef-to-Cuisine Bryan Wallace. Her time spent in a restaurant kitchen taught her valuable lessons in multi-tasking, patience and timing. Her extensive knowledge of the back-of-house helped transition her into a powerhouse front-of-house staff member. She moved into the position of server and bartender with us. Over the years, Mandy has been a mainstay in our ranks (except for a time or two leaving to pursue her previous love of law). Her creativity, attention to detail, outgoing personality and supreme problem-solving skills make her the perfect fit for our management team. When she's not managing or bartending at the Chophouse, she moonlights as a realtor--
looking to buy or sell?
janel
Bar Manager

Janel has been with Frogtown for nine years, almost ten years. Born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, she moved to the Poconos to raise her children. Janel has been in the Hospitality industry for over fifteen years. Her attention to detail and fun-loving spirit makes her the perfect bartender. Her Frogtown journey started in 2014 with her in the position of hostess. She quickly moved from position to position until she became our General Manager in 2016. Janel's journey took a turn with the birth of her first grandchild in 2018. Her role as 'Mimzy' was of the utmost priority and she transitioned into our Bar Manager position. We are so glad she continues to be part of our story at The Frogtown Chophouse.
Culinary Team
A restaurant is only as good as its cuisine. A lot of the hard work is being done behind the scenes in our kitchen.
We proudly introduce our Kitchen Team:

Julius
Culinary Manager
Julius is a Poconos transplant by way of Allentown. Moving to the Poconos in his youth, he graduated from Pocono Mountain West. Julius' culinary journey started in his teenage years, where he learned through hands-on experience. His dedication to the art of cooking and passion for creating comforting and delicious food has landed him a top spot on Frogtown's culinary team. He thanks his family, wife Rachel, and friends for their love and support. You might catch him throwing the pigskin when he's not working on his culinary craft. On our menu you can find his delicious chili, affectionately called 'Aguila's Chili' in honor of his father, may he rest in peace.
James
Culinary Manager
James was born in Turkey and raised in Japan, traveling back to the U.S. with his parents during his middle school years. He traveled back and forth to Japan during his teenage years, ultimately landing in America in his early twenties. He has been in the culinary field for several years, working alongside Chef Wayne Dunlap and in Skytops' kitchens, to name a few. James has shown through his skill, technique and friendly personality to be a valuable player. His passion for the culinary field is outstanding. He loves to make the staff "little snacks" using in-house ingredients in new and exciting ways. We are lucky he found his way to us. When he's not working hard in the kitchen, he's spending time with his family and friends and shooting some hoops.

cheryle
Pastry Chef
Cheryle was born in Victoria, Texas and found herself moving to the Poconos after high school. Although she fell in love with baking at the age of nine, she tried her hand at many different occupations (including modeling and acting). No matter what she tried, she couldn't extinguish her passion for desserts. She's been baking professionally for the past 15 years; 6 of which has been with us. Her favorite dessert is her dark chocolate sea-salt caramel torte. When she's not in the kitchen or on the floor as one of our servers, she loves spending time with her daughter who makes life that much sweeter.
